Camborne Society of Art and Crafts (formerly Camborne Society of Painters) was founded about 35 years ago and meets at Camborne Community Centre every Friday from 10.30am to 4pm. New Members are always welcome, but Membership is at the Committees' discretion.

We are a non-profit making Society and Members are all hobby painters. Membership is drawn from the Camborne -Redruth area with one or two Members living  a few miles further away. We currently have  about 40 Members, of various ages and are a very friendly group of people.

We don't have a tutor, but help is always available from our more experienced Members.

We have about four exhibitions a year and the dates and venues for this year are:

Spring Exhibition - Donald Thomas Centre Camborne Saturday 24th April 2004 

Cornwall Centre - Alma Place Redruth -MON 19th - SAT 31st July 10am - 5pm. 

ANNUAL EXHIBITION - Hayle - Phillack Church Hall -  23rd August - 28th August 2004 10am - 5.30pm

PERRANPORTH EXHIBITION - 3 days in September - dates to be announced.
